I really like the design of the Delacruz putters. I love the position of the sound slot. I have ha dputters with the sound slot and the position was different than were this putter is located. I would definitely love to give one of these a try and see how they stack up against my Slighter putter that I am currently playing.

This sounds really interesting (ba dum tshhh). I am very much an aural learner. I can't feel the more settle mis-hits with my putter, so I'm curious how I'd adjust to hearing a mis-hit. I only know of Dick from the previous article about the first CNC milled putter, but have become a fan (I was actually looking for one of his Cobra models after that article). And these putters look gorgeous!

It looks like he has a winner. Audio feedback is such a large part of putting than many do not understand. The clean look of the putter also will appeal to traditionalists that are not on the market for some of these new high MOI putters, put are having trouble finding a new and innovative traditional putter.

I believe these putters are going to become very popular in the golf world. There is a sleek and clean look to them, very attractive! From what I see and heard these come from a company which has alot of experience in the golf industry and there main focus is putters! The reason these putters attract me is because all the new putter companies that come out, bring these weird shaped, gimic pron putters, with Delacruz putters they have focused on traditional looking putter heads such as the Answer model and a Blade type head. It is funny you see alot of the tour pros that have had putting woes in the past (Sergio Garcia, Vijay Singh) just to name a few, they have all went back to old school putters! I am very excited to get one of these in my hands!!!

I putted with an Original Anser with the "slot" for the first 5 plus years I played Golf. Everytime I went to another putter I missed the sound/ feel (I've always felt they go together). I finally found a putter that I liked almost as much in my CameronAnser (Mil-Spec). The only thing that has been missing from this putter is the "slot" and a Black finish. The C-2 or the C-4 look to have the best of it all… Can't wait to try one.

These putters look phenomenal. If the different sound pitches help me avoid three-putting then I am all for it. I am not a fan of the huge putters with all the technology and innovation. These putters have a nice blend of technology and a clean, classic look that fits my style.

I felt the same way about his fairway woods the "DeLaCruz Fairway Cruzer" until I finally demoed one, and end up buying 3. By far the best woods I've ever hit. If his putter can produce like his woods, I think we are all in for a treat.

These putters look great! I am playing with a slotted Bettinardi putter now. The slot on my Bettinardi helps with the sound but the slot is on the bottom. These seem like they would give you better feedback.

I want to be honest I never used or even seen a Delacruz putter in person. what stands out to me is the unique style of the neck, also the way the cavity is cut out shorter then what appears to be the sound slot. i would really like to give it a try against my SC Santa Fe style and my many other Newport style putters. Putters are really the most personal club in the bag and this truly is one of the original changes I've seen in quite some time! I would be thrilled to give this putter a chance to make my bag!

I firmly believe the sound will be liked by many players. After all, the drivers today have a sound that is appealing to amateur golfers and pros too.
The truth is this: I want this putter to help me with my game. If I can putt well with a De La Cruz Putter, I can sell the benefits to my students to get one for them. As a teaching professional, I have recommended training-aides, golf clubs, balls, gloves, club-fitting, and wedges. And my students do buy what I recommend. I don't receive a commission from any vendor. My business is made up helping people play better golf. And, as a profession golf instructor, I need to be abreast of all new products on the market.
I think the OEM's have forgotten about THE GOLF TEACHING PRO'S influence on consumer buying. I am talking about guys like me who only teach/instruct/coach for a living. I advocate products that I know golfers will benefit from.
I walk into "big-box" golf stores at least once per week to like at all the new clubs, especially the putter section to try on the fake grass. Of course no one can help me choose the right one because of the following:
1. Staff member says, "I can't recommend a certain brand."
2. You can sign up for a putter fit for pay.
3. "WE sell 'em, but we don't show you how to use 'em"
I show people how to use their clubs. If the club is not right for the golfer it is my professional responsibility to inform my student.
